Why Heroes of Newerth beta keys?
There was a big clamor for HON Beta Keys on our Atchucan article for Heroes of Newerth. So, we think it's just appropriate to give you guys a chance to get into the beta.
(Note: DBG means DotA Based Game as RPG is to Role Playing Game)
It's a genre that sprung up thanks to Icefrog's popular Warcraft 3 map called DotA.
Only Atchucan subscribers are qualified to enter the contest. So if you're not yet in, you can type in your e-mail add so that we can send the Heroes of Newerth beta keys there.Just answer these 2 DotA related questions on the comment section:
a) Who is your favorite DotA hero?
b) What is the reason why you like that hero?

My favourite Dota hero is Mirana.I like the hero because we need a good timing and calculation to use that hero.The stun is incredible and it have a massive 5 second stun depend on range.

It is fantastic! He has a combination of being able incredible! It is the proper thunder, where depending on the combination of its abilities the enemies he has is that to fear ahead of such force! Buying the certain item the use of the same can be fatal! At last admire I it! hehe!!

My Favorite Hero is Goblin Techies, why? Because noone is favoring him, hehehe. Well, actually, when i play with techies, my teammates specially the farmers and lategamers have no worries because enemies are afraid to hunt because of my mines.

Well my favorite hero is Yunero. Since you only need boots at the start and can easily cause 1st blood with the right ally of course.

My favorite has got to be Enigma. He might be fragile intelligence hero, but when he pulls off his Black Hole/Midnight Pulse combo with Dagger, it's game breaking.
ReplyDeleteEnigma is a support hero who can farm without stealing the carry's gold. He also has two reliable stuns, is ranged, and has great stat gains. Perhaps best of all, he has no casting animation, meaning instant spell casting, =]

ReplyDeleteb) good support hero. ganking and supporting is my most favorite role in the game and i think this hero is the fittest to do it other than int heroes plus the brilliance aura is imba.
My favorite hero is Razor because he is capable of fantastic lightning abilities that pwn people hardcore. He is also great at pwning people from a distance since he's ranged.

favourite hero.... i m between 2, warlock (aka Demnok Lanik) and Sven (aka Rogue Knight or for the old players of first maps of DotA, Swartzeneger)
ReplyDeleteWarlock attracts me because of his simple control, heal on the enemy, 2-3 hits, infernal and he's practically dead (have done triple kill with infernal only on 5v5 game).
also like Sven because of his ability to do H-e-a-v-y damage in a couple of second with his stun ability and ulti-hits.

ReplyDeleteb) What is the reason why you like that hero? Naix is a unique STR character like none before. He's the best anti-tank and he do well against other types too. He has everything you want in a hero. DPS, anti-magic, escape mech, semi-disabler (stun+slow) and he's also somewhat a team player (jungling, global life steal effect due to one of his skill). Best of all, he's effective early game all the way to the late game.

My favorite all-time would be Troll Warlord, even if they changed his abilities to something I think is weaker.
ReplyDeleteHe's versatile, able to change from ranged to melee and back which is useful especially when levelling (ranged early game, then switch to melee mid-late when he can stun consistently). I remember I use him a lot to do impossible saves (run a long distance to kill some greedy enemy who tries to kill an ally). Good times, good times.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite hero in DoTA as of now??? Well, it's gotta be Jin'Zakk the Batrider.... In my opinion, he's the most IMBA hero in DoTA today... Why so? 1st, Sticky Napalm... 15 manacost, insane AoE, 3 secs cd, good slow, and massive dmg amplify... you could easily get 1st blood in lvl 1-3 using this and firefly... flamebreak is just like mirana's arrow, but it explodes at the end of its trajectory, area dmg too... And, of course, the elusive FIREFLY... gives you the chance to gank, escape, destroy trees, and massive dps with sticky napalm... If you do it right, 10xnapalm, firefly, and flamebreak, you could get up to 2000+ AoE dmg in 5 secs!!! IMBA?! oh, don't forget the moving, non-channeling shackles, FLAMING LASSO... just get vanguard (any survivability item), BoT(boots of travel), and mana regen item in the early game, and it will spell OWNAGE for you!!!

MORPHLING
ReplyDeleteI love this hero. He is mid-late gamer for me. His waveform just like burrowed strike of SK but no stun but big damage and long ranged. And its adaptive strike knockback stun with additional damage with his agility. Then his ultimate, this can be used as escape mechanism or it confuses the enemy. And by the right item build and knowledge in using his skill corrrectly the enemy may scream IMBA!!

the skills:
breath of fire: high damage and AoE nuke. good for farming and killing.
dragon's tail: 3 second stun at lvl 1?? 'nuff said
dragon's blood: huge armor and regen bonus. helps in laning early on.
elder dragon form: very helpful during pushes and clashes. makes davion a whole lot tougher. lvl 3 dragon's slow + lifesteal (it stacks O.o) = omgwtfroflolmao O.o
and with the right item build, he's an unstoppable monstah O.o

1. Fave DOTA Hero: Troll Warlord
ReplyDelete2. Why: He's versatile, able to change from melee to range and back depending on the situation. Early game, being ranged allows him to harass and keep a safe distance. Mid or late game, his stun bonus for melee fights helps him win clashes. He's very memorable for me because he allowed me to pull of near-impossible saves because of his ulti (before 6.60 - move speed and 30s IAS increase are better than his global rampage now)

My Favorite Hero is Darkterror
ReplyDeleteHe has a high chance of bash,
and a high chance of backtracking,
and a very large Aoe disable for 5 seconds,
even though he's a little weak at first,
he's strong at late game,
especially when equipped with the right stuffs
it also depends on your calculation of Time Walk and Chronosphere usage.

Uhm, my favorite here is Rikimaru(stealth assassin) because his my 1st hero that i've use in DOTA, yeah, it sounds weird. xD , but not only that,i like him because he can scout to enemies and push tower that easy as well as kill heroes. That's all, thank you.

morphling because you can switch from 2 different builds, morph all of his strengt to agi and you get the best hero killer in dota.

ReplyDeleteMy Fav Hero is Crystal Maiden. She´s very versatile and very supportive thanks to her global brilliance aura. She has a nice slow/nuke (Nova), an immobilizing spell (Icecage) and a clash turning Ultimate (Frost field).
She can play with almost every hero on a lane effectively AND she is the most sexy Hero in the Game ;P !!!
I just love Dagger => Ulti => GODLIKE!!!

My fav hero would have to be Necrolyte.
ReplyDeleteNecrolyte is appealing to my play style mostly because he is such a good support hero with a killer ult that destroys any competition if they get low enough hp.
Necrolyte can be utilized as a great pusher and if you were to make a refresher on him you could do some major damage to the enemy team with his ultimate skill.
